Beautiful Barcelona

WOW! Who would have thought you could fall in love over 5 days?

We were apprehensive about traipsing around the historical attractions in the thirty-degree heat. However, we were pleasantly surprised at what we came across, the Sagrada Família was a dazzling spectacle to say the least and with it not even completed yet we can only imagine what it will end up looking like! Similarly, Gaudi’s Park Güell gave us an opportunity to see the spectacular views of the city accompanied by endearingly winding colourful pathways.

We both are two big foodies and with Barcelona being home to some of the finest food we were relishing the opportunity of enjoying some fine tapas, and it is safe to say the food did not disappoint! From the seafood to the cheese the flavours were exquisite, finishing every meal highly satisfied and left questioning how long it would be till we eat again.

As a huge football fan myself going to the Camp Nou was not even up for debate. I was sat watching the football with the sun setting in the background with a beer in hand questioning whether life gets much better than this? While for the most of it my girlfriend was questioning whether we were watching a football or rugby match in between breaks from playing candy crush.

As sun worshippers ourselves most of our afternoons were spent relaxing on the beach, and as the sun went down in the evening we would explore the vibrant city full of great night life which boasts bars on every corner – feeding our love for great cocktails.
